Tiger terrifies Chinese village after escaping from a circus before being caught by a dozen club-wielding officers

A tiger escaped a circus in central China because its cage had not been locked and was on the run for nearly an hour.
However, a dozen police officers armed with steel poles responded to the scene to help handlers recapture the big cat.
The animal had been performing in Hubei province to celebrate the week-long holiday for National Day and the Mid-Autumn festival.
