    Damelahamid Dancers

    • Description

      According to National arts centre of Canada, Indigenous dance company, led by Margaret Grenier from British Columbia called "The Dancers of Damelahamid" with rich history of masked dance explore diversity of Indigenous cultures of Canada.

      Movements and modern multimedia, songs are weaved together with contemporary movements and dance to highlight finding of direction. Minowin link Northwest coast landscapes and modern views for Indigenous dance into connections and understandings thet lead us to renewal. 

      Presented in collaboration between NAC Dance and Indigenous Theatre with development support from the National Arts Centre creation fund.
